Feeling a bit sad today. The pictures, I think, speak for themselves.
Not a very encouraging thing to see as soon as you step out of the door
Remains of the bamboo awning Geoff took hours to put up, lashed down with rope and chains to stop them flying off and decapitating someone
The awning has stripped the jasmine and is tangled up in the lemon tree
Plants have been slung about
The tomatoes have been blasted
I think this is what is left of the chilli plant pictured above
Not much left of the tall tomato plants, but the view is lovely
Scary stuff, but we are all in one piece, and will have it back looking lovely. It will just take time, patience and hard work.
